Privacy Policy

This policy applies to visitors and account holders who use TrainMade. TrainMade is intended for users age 18 or older.

TrainMade is operated by TrainMade LLC, a Michigan limited liability company. Privacy questions or requests may be sent to support@gettrainmade.com.

Depending on how you use TrainMade, we may collect:

• Your name and email address
• Account and authentication information (for example, hashed credentials managed by our authentication provider, or your Google account identifier if you sign in with Google)
• Quiz answers, including your training goals, experience level, workout schedule, available equipment, injury or limitation notes, and other fitness-related information you voluntarily provide
• The training plan generated for you based on your quiz answers
• Optional workout logs such as exercises completed, weights, repetitions, sets, notes, ratings, and completion data
• Purchase status and transaction identifiers returned by our payment processor (for example, checkout session and payment intent IDs)
• Basic device, browser, and technical information (such as IP address and user agent) when it is needed for security, reliability, or debugging

Payment cards. Payment card information is submitted directly to Stripe, our payment processor. TrainMade does not receive or store your full card number, CVC, or bank credentials.

• To generate your personalized 12-week training plan
• To provide workout logging, progress tracking, and program features
• To process and confirm your purchase and grant access to what you purchased
• To prevent fraud, abuse, and unauthorized access, and to secure the service
• To respond to support requests
• To improve reliability, performance, and functionality
• To meet legal obligations that apply to us

We use a small number of service providers to operate TrainMade:

• Stripe — payment processing, receipts, and fraud prevention. Stripe processes your card details directly and shares payment status back to us.
• Supabase — authentication, database, and hosted storage for your account, quiz answers, generated plan, and workout data.
• Google Sign-In — used only if you choose to sign in with Google. Google returns basic identifiers and your email address.
• Email delivery — transactional email (such as sign-in and password-reset messages) is sent through our email provider.

These providers process information on our behalf under their own security and privacy practices. TrainMade does not sell your personal information.

TrainMade uses browser storage (cookies and localStorage) that are necessary for the service to work — for example, keeping you signed in, remembering your quiz progress, and caching your program and workout logs locally so the app responds quickly.

Meta Pixel. TrainMade uses the Meta Pixel on limited public marketing pages (such as the landing page) to measure advertising performance, attribute visits to Meta, Facebook, or Instagram advertising, and understand how visitors arrive from those ads. When you visit a page that includes the Meta Pixel, Meta may collect or receive limited browser, device, network, and visit information, which may include cookies or similar identifiers, IP address and network information, browser and device information, referring information, and the public page URL visited. Meta may use information received through its Business Tools in accordance with its own privacy policies and user settings. TrainMade does not intentionally send Meta questionnaire or intake answers, pain or injury information, mobility or limitation information, sleep or recovery information, body or health information, workout performance or history, authenticated program or dashboard data, form contents, names, email addresses, phone numbers, or TrainMade user IDs through the Pixel. Because the Pixel loads directly from Meta, however, Meta may still process browser and network identifiers as described above.

If you arrive at TrainMade from one of our own ads or links, we store the campaign tags contained in that link (for example utm_source and utm_campaign) in your browser for up to 30 days and, if you purchase, alongside your purchase record. We do not store advertising click identifiers such as fbclid, gclid, or ttclid. This is first-party information used only to understand which of our campaigns produced a sale. It is not combined with your assessment answers, health information, or workout data, and it is not shared with advertising platforms as part of that first-party attribution record.

Outside of the Meta Pixel on the limited public pages described above, TrainMade does not use third-party analytics, advertising, retargeting, or social-media trackers such as Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Google Ads tracking, or TikTok Pixel.

We retain your account and training data for as long as your account is active. Purchase records are retained for as long as needed to support the customer relationship, comply with tax and financial recordkeeping requirements, and resolve disputes.

You can request deletion of your TrainMade account by emailing support@gettrainmade.com from the email address associated with your account. When we delete your account, we delete or de-identify your training data. Certain records (for example, financial transaction records) may be retained where required by law or by our payment processor.

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including transport encryption, access controls on our database, and row-level security on user data. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee that your information will never be accessed, disclosed, altered, or destroyed.

• You may access or correct your profile information by signing in to your TrainMade account.
• You may request a copy or deletion of your account data by emailing support@gettrainmade.com from your account email.
• You may opt out of non-essential email at any time; account and transactional email may still be sent while your account is active.

TrainMade is not directed to children under 18 and we do not knowingly collect information from children under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date above. Material changes will be communicated through the app or by email where appropriate.
